Weave ribbon in & out the two dc rows starting on the bottom center row. Insert the ribbon from the front of the waist and weave toward the left of the waist. Then go up one row and weave the ribbon on the upper dc row from left to the right all the way. Then drop one row and weave ribbon to the center meeting up to the other side. Adjust ribbon so that the ends are even. Draw up ribbon so the bodice just fits around the doll's waist. This will have a soft gathering effect. Tie a bow in the ribbon.
