This coaster uses a technique I really like to do alot. And you will find it in other patterns I have designed. I work some of the stitches behind a chain loop. You could make an unlimited number of color combinations and make a whole bunch of these to give as a gift in a gift basket. They are fast to make and you could make several in an evening.

Latch Hook Rug Making From Scraps
If you are into rug making, you could use your ends as rug pieces. Use your latch hook and get some blank canvas and everytime you finish a project with worsted weight yarn, put the pieces right into the rug canvas as you get them. You can trim them to the right length after they are added to your rug. What a fun rug you would have after you are done!
