This shopping bag is fun and easy to make and uses a technique called the burrito roll or magic seam in it's construction. It is made to resemble those plastic shopping bags that you get at most stores across the country that is now being banned in 8 states, around the country, including Maine, the state where I live. The way this one is made also has a pocket on one side meant to fold the bag into it's own little pouch. Sort of like a pillowghan or quillow. There are other bag patterns out there similar to this one but this is how I make mine.

Please note: I am now selling all of my paper bead making tools and other items from this web site using Paypal payments.

I have removed all of my paper bead making tools from Amazon. My Kindle crochet pattern books and paper template paperback books continue to be available on Amazon, as they are printed and fulfilled directly by Amazon. A limited number of paper bead making tools remain available on Etsy but I am not linking to those tools from this site.

Random Quick Tip!

Coffee Filter Angels
You can make a very cute angel ornament for any occasion such as weddings, Easter, Christmas etc... by using 3 coffee filters. Actually if you use a cotton ball torn in half for the head then you only need to use 2 coffee filters. 1. Scrunch up one coffee filter to make a small ball.2. Place the ball inside the center of the 2nd coffee filter and form a neck just under the ball by pinching the coffee filter around it. Then wrap a piece of plain transparent tape around the neck. Flair out the skirt. 3. Fold the 3rd coffee filter in half then accordion fold it in the center to form the wings. Then glue the wings to the back.
