This set of cutting templates will make paper bead strips that are 1in at the wide end, 1/4in at the narrow end and from approximately 8.5 to 11 inches long. The templates are meant to be printed either on the back side of your colorful paper or printed on a blank or recycled piece of copy paper and placed on top of the paper you want to cut into strips. Then you cut your paper into strips along the template lines.

Another use for scraps of yarn, the type that are long enough to make actual things with, is to give it to your kid who is just learning how to crochet. That way, your child will have a practice ball of yarn to use and he/she can frog it as many times as needed without ruining a new skein of yarn.
