Weaving In Ends

To weave in the ends of yarn or thread into a crocheted piece, when cutting yarn where indicated in  , leave a length of about 6" so that you can use a needle to weave with.

Turn the piece over so the wrong side is facing you and put the yarn or thread through a needle suitable in size for the type of yarn or thread.

Push the needle through the stitches in the back being sure to pierce the fibers of the thread or yarn and work in about 1 to 2 inches. Run the needle back through the stitches in the opposite way to secure them. You may want to separate the strings of the yarn or thread and then weave in each individual string in for extra security. This is not really necessary though for most projects.
