Check out this large game board! It is 2 feet long and would be really easy to take with you on vacation! Your kids would love this if you made it in their favorite colors!

Materials Needed
3oz Worsted weight acrylic yarn in light blue
1oz Worsted weight acrylic yarn in royal blue
Size H/8 aluminum crochet hook
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
48 playing pieces, suggestions at end of instructions

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc = 1"
Finished Size: 7.5"Wx24"L
Skill Level: Intermediate

Instructions
ROW 1: Ch27. Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch3, turn.

ROW 2-5: Sk first st. Dc in each st across. Dc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn. At the end of row 5, ch1, turn.

ROW 6: Sc in each of the first 12 sts. Ch1. Sk 1 st. Sc in each of the next 11 sts. Sc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.

ROW 7: Dc in 2nd sc and in each of the next 11 sc. Ch1. Sk ch1 sp. Dc in each of the next 12sc. Ch3, turn.

ROW 8-11: Sk very first dc. Dc in each of the next 11 dc. Ch1. Sk ch1 sp. Dc in each of the next 11 dc. Dc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.

ROW 12: Rep row 6.

ROW 13: Rep row 7.

ROW 14-17: Rep rows 8-11.

ROW 18-41: Rep rows 12-17 consecutively.

ROW 42: Rep row 6 but ch3, turn.

ROW 43: Sk first sc. Dc in each of the next 11 sc. Dc in ch1 sp. Dc in each of the next 12 sc. Ch3, turn.

ROW 44-47: Sk first dc. Dc in each dc across. Dc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn. At the end of row 47, fasten off. Weave all ends into back of work.

Finishing Trim: With royal blue. Work a surface chain st on each sc row working from right to left. Then work a vertical surface chain from the first sc row to the last sc row. Work a 2 chains between each dc row in the ch1 sp. Weave all ends in back of work before continuing.

Finishing Perimeter: Work a round of sc all the way around. 2 sc in each dc row. 1 sc in each sc row, 1 sc in each st across the top and bottom and 1sc, ch1, 1sc in each corner. Join w/slst to first sc when you get back to the beginning. Fasten off and weave all ends into back of work.

Finishing Playing Pieces: You need 48 of any of the following. Bingo chips, magnetic bingo chips with a bingo wand, stones, polished stones, pennies, plastic mosaic tiles, buttons, wood plugs, flat marbles, metal washers, metal nuts, the possible playing pieces you can use are endless. Let your imagination go wild. You could even make your own with polymer clay and a tiny cookie cutter.
