RND 5-7t: Ch2. First dec. *Hdc in next st. 1dec. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first dec. Stuff the worm as instructed below right after rnd 5t. Then continue. At the end of rnd 7t, you should have 3 sts left. Fasten off. Weave end into work. Embroider face on white part using blue for the eyes and red for the mouth. Use your imagination here and have fun!
Assembly
Use a wooden spoon or a dowel to poke the toe of the sock down inside of the head of the worm. Then stuff the worm, one segment at a time using the handle of the spoon or dowel to poke it into each segment. When you are done stuffing it, sew up the sock with the sewing thread and needle. All you need to do is make a running stitch around the top of it and gather it up, make a knot and break off.
I did not weave the ends in. You may want to though.
