Long Strip Assembly: (Perimeter of box)
STEP 1: Stitch 9 squares together to form a long strip. Use either a lacing or whip stitch. It is up to you. I used a lacing stitch. When you have all 9 stitched together, you will have 2 squares left over. Those 2 are for the top. Stitch the 2 short ends of the long strip together to form a large ring.

STEP 2: Bottom Edge of Box
RND 1: Join white in any right hand side ch2 corner space on rnd 3 of any square. Work 2 sc in each ch2 corner space and 1 sc in each cluster and ch1 sp around the ring. Make sure you end up with a total of 118 stitches around. You may need to add one somewhere, any where you want. Join w/slst to first sc. Make sure you have 118 sc around. Fasten off white.
RND 2: Join orange in any stitch. Ch1. Sc in same st and in each st around. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off orange and weave ends into back of work.

STEP 3: Top Edge of Box
RND 1: Join yarn onto opposite edge of where you did the bottom edge but in the same way. Repeat RND 1 of Bottom Edge. Do not fasten off white.
RND 2: Repeat RND 2 of Bottom Edge. Set Base aside for now.

Top PieceYou are going to work in rows, first on one side of 2 squares, then on the other side.
ROW 1: Pick up on of the left over squares. Join white to any corner space. [Ch1, sc in same sp. Sc in each st across to next corner. 1sc in the corner sp. Ch15. Pick up other square and with the right side facing you, sc in any ch2 corner sp. Sc in each st across this square to the next corner. 1sc in corner space. Ch1, turn.]

ROW 2: Sc in each sc across. Ch3, turn.

ROW 3: Sk very first sc. Dc in each sc across. Fasten off. Weave all ends in work.

Other side of top piece:
ROW 1: Join white to opposite side of squares and repeat bet [] of ROW 1 of first side.
ROW 2: Sc in each sc across. Ch3, turn.
ROW 3: Sk very first sc. Dc in each sc across. Do not fasten off.

Perimeter of Top Piece
Now you will work around the perimeter. Work 20 sc across each short side and 39 sc across each long side work a ch2 to go around each corner. When you get back to where you started, join w/slst to first sc. You should end with 118 sc around.

Inner Hole Perimeter
Join orange to the bottom right corner of the ch15 of the inside perimeter. Work 1 sc in each of the 15 sts across, 1sc in each st across the granny square, 1sc in each of the other 15 sts across to the next square and then 1sc in each st across the next square to the corner where you started. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave ends into work.

Final Assembly:
Use a lacing or whip stitch to hand sew the top piece to the base. Work one stitch in each stitch around working through both layers. Make sure the orange round is on the bottom. There is no need to line up the squares. Let them fall where they may. There are nine squares around and they will not line up.

Place finished cover over the tissue box and pull the tissues through the orange hole at the top! Enjoy!
