This shaded blue scrunchie is just perfect for those casual summer looks with jeans and a tee shirt. It is worked on one side of the elastic then turned over and done again on the other side.

Materials Needed
Small amount shaded blue worsted weight yarn.
1 large ponytail holder
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
Yarn Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4 sc =1"
Finished Size: 4" diameter
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
First Side:
Tie yarn onto holder.

RND 1: Ch 3, *sc in ring, dc in ring, ch 3, repeat from * around a total of 14 times. Join with sl st to top of ch 3.

RND 2: Ch 3, * sc in ch 3 sp, dc in dc, ch 3, Repeat from * around end with sc in last ch 3 sp &a sl st in dc. Fasten off yarn.

Second Side
Now turn the scrunchie over so the back side is facing you.
Reattach yarn bet stitches to the left of the starting knot. Ch 1, sc in ring, dc in holder, ch 3. * sk 4 lps (which are actually the bottoms of 2sts, sc and dc of rnd 1.), that are on the holder and work the following in to the next sp on the holder. sc, dc, ch3, repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first ch.

RND 2: Repeat RND 2: of first side.
