Stratton Sachet

This sachet is made by crocheting 2 circles exactly the same then working a round of chain stitches and shells around the perimeter to close. It is stuffed with perfume scented polyester fiberfill. This would make a great bazaar item!
Materials Needed
Size 10 crochet cotton in shaded pinks and white. Southmaid was used in the example.
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfill
Perfume of choice
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 8sc=1"
Finished Size: 4" in diameter
Skill Level: Beginner
Front and back, make both circles the same
RND 1: Ch6. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch4. Dc in ring, ch1, 11 times. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4.
RND 2: Slst into the next ch1 sp. Ch3, 2dc in same sp. Ch3. Sk next ch1 sp. *3dc in next ch1 sp. Ch3. Sk next ch1 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 3: Slst into the next dc. Ch3, 2dc in same dc. Ch3. Dc in 2nd ch of the next ch3 sp. Ch3. Sk1dc. *3dc in next dc. Ch3. Dc in 2nd ch of the next ch3 sp. Ch3. Sk next dc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 4: Slst into the next dc. Ch3, 2dc in same dc. (Ch3, dc in 2nd ch of the next ch3 sp, twice. Ch3. Sk next dc.) *3dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 5: Slst into the next dc. Ch3, 2dc in same dc. (Ch3, dc in 2nd ch of the next ch3 sp, 3 times. Ch3. Sk next dc.) *3dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 6: Slst into the next dc. Ch3, 2dc in same dc. (Ch3, dc in 2nd ch of the next ch3 sp, 4 times. Ch3. Sk next dc.) *3dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 7: Slst into the next dc. Ch3, 2dc in same dc. (Ch1. Sk next dc. 3dc in next dc, ch1, 4 times. Sk next dc.) *3dc in next dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
Assembly Spray polyester fiberfill with perfume and set aside to dry.
RND 1: Join both circles together, wrong sides facing each other, join white to any ch1 space working through both loops from here on out for this round. Sc in same space. *Ch3, sc in next ch1 sp. Rep from * around but stuff with polyester stuffing before closing. Join w/slst to first sc.
RND 2: Slst into the next ch3 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in same sp. Sc in next ch3 sp. *3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch3 sp. Sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.

Random Quick Tip!
Meat Tray PallettesFoam meat trays can be used a palettes for paint or glue. When done with your project, just throw away or if you have extra paint on it, cover with plastic wrap so that you will not waste any of it. Then when all of the paint is used up, then you can toss it.
