Rippled Pencil Cup

Rippled Pencil Cup

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc
Pattern ID: p117010
Date Added: June 11, 2011

This pencil cup is designed with a man in mind but if you change out the colors, you can make it for whomever you want. It is fairly fast and easy to make and depending on your speed, you can make it in about 8 hours. It uses an empty Frozen Juice concentrate container inside.

Random Quick Tip!

Coasters
A basic round pattern such as you would use for the above can cover idea, could be used as a simple fast coaster. You could work the last round in reverse single crochet to form a ridge around the permimeter. You could work it as many rounds as needed for your glassware or cans. Variegated cotton yarn would be best for these coasters.
