The dress on the air freshener doll is made up in two parts. The Over Dress that is really a coat that ties in the front to close then an under skirt that has an elastic waist.

Materials Needed
Sport weight yarn in light blue, white and yellow.
AirFreshener Doll made by Fiber Craft
Renuzit air freshener.
Hair Elastic Goody Medium size
Size G aluminum crochet hook
Yarn Needle

Yarn Thickness: 3mm
Gauge: 9sc=2"
Finished Size: 10" tall
Skill Level: Intermediate

Air Doll Back side

NOTE: How to decrease in HDC.
Yo, insert hook in next st. Draw up a loop, draw loop through stitch. Yo draw through 2 lps on hook. Insert hook in next st. Draw up a loop, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook.

Instructions
Over Dress Bodice
Right Front With baby blue.
ROW 1: Ch4, Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in the next 2 chains. Ch1, turn.
ROW 2: Sc in each of the 3 sc. Ch1, turn.
ROW 3: Sc in first 2 sc. 2sc in last sc. Ch1, turn.
ROW 4: 2sc in first sc. Sc in each sc to end. Ch1, turn. You should now have 5 sc across.
ROW 5: Sc in each sc across. Ch1, turn.
ROW 6: Sc in each sc across. Ch3, turn.
ROW 7: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in the next ch then in each of the next 5 sc. Ch1, turn.
ROW 8: Sc in each sc across. Ch1 turn.
ROW 9: Sc in each sc across. Fasten off and weave ends into work. Set aside.

Left Front
ROW 1: Ch4, Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in the next 2 chains. Ch1, turn.
ROW 2: Sc in each of the 3 sc. Ch1, turn.
ROW 3: 2sc in first sc. Sc in each of the next 2 sc. Ch1, turn.
ROW 4: Sc in each of the first 5 sc. 2sc in last sc. Ch1, turn.
ROW 5: Sc in each sc across. Ch1, turn.
ROW 6: Sc in each sc across. Ch3, turn.
ROW 7: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next ch. Sc in each of the next 5 sc. Ch1 turn.
ROW 8: Sc in each sc across. Ch1, turn.
ROW 9: Sc in each sc across. Fasten off and weave ends into work.

Lay the two pieces down in front of you side by side. Row 1 of both are the shoulders. They should be positioned so that the shoulders are at the top and the long narrow ends are toward the outside.

Back:
ROW1: Look at the piece on the right. You will join the yarn to the very top right corner of the first piece and Sc on the 3 stitches of this right side, ch3, then sc on the 3 shoulder sc of the left piece. Ch1 turn. You should have 9 sc across.
ROW 2-4: Sc in each sc across. Ch1, turn.
ROW 5: 2 sc in first sc. Sc in each of the next 7 sc. 2sc in the last sc. Ch1, turn.
ROW 6-8: Sc in each sc across. Ch1, turn. At the end of row 8. Fasten off and weave ends into work but stitch the ends of the last three rows of the front and back pieces together to form the side seams with a needle. Use a overhand stitch.

Sleeves
Left Side.
RND 1: Join yarn at the arm pit. Work 7sc up the front, 2 sc in next sp, then 3sc at the shoulder, then 2sc at the next sp. Then work 7sc down the back to where you started. You should now have 21sc around arm hole. Join w/slst to first sc.
RND 2: Ch2. Hdc in next 8 sc. 2hdc in each of the next 3 sc. Hdc in each of the next 9 sc. Join w/slst to top of ch2.
RND 3: Ch2. Hdc in next 8 hdc. Dec 3 times. Hdc in each of the next 9 hdc. Join w/slst to top of ch2.
RND 4: Ch2. Hdc in next st. Dec 9 times. Hdc in next st. Join w/slst to top of ch2. You should now have 12 sts around.
RND 5: Ch2. Hdc in next st. Dec 4 times. Hdc in next 2 sts. Join w/slst to top of ch2. You should now have 7 sts around.
RND 6: Ch2. Hdc in each st around. Join w/slst to top of ch2. Fasten off.

Right Side.
Repeat rnds 1-6: But work up the back then down the front instead of up the front then down the back.

Skirt part of overdress.
ROW 1: Join yarn in left front bottom of bodice. *Ch5, sc in next st. Repeat from * all around to the other side. Ch3, turn.
ROW 2: 2dc, ch2, 2dc in each ch5 lp across. Ch3, turn.
ROW 3: 2dc, ch2, 2dc in each ch2 sp across. Dc in top of ch3. Fasten off and weave ends into work.
Over Dress is done.

Under Skirt
RND 1: Join white yarn on elastic. Work 31 sc in elastic. Join w/slst to first sc.
RND 2: Ch3, dc in same st as slst. 1dc in next st. *2dc in next st. 1dc in next st. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 3: Ch4, dc in same st as slst. Sk next 2 dc. *Dc, ch1, dc in next dc. Sk next 2 dc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4.
RND 4-8: Slst into the first ch1 sp. Ch4, dc in same sp. Dc, ch1, dc in next ch1 sp and in each ch1 sp around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4.
RND 9: Sc in each dc and in each ch1 sp around. Join w/slst to first sc.
RND 10: In back lps only on this rnd. Slst to the sc that is in the ch1 sp. Ch4, dc in same st. Sk next 2 sc. *Dc, ch1, dc in next sc. Sk next 2 sc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4.
RND 11: Slst into the first ch1 sp. Ch3, 2dc,ch2, 2dc in same sp. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in each ch1 sp around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off and weave ends into work.
Trim of skirt.
Join yellow on rnd 9 in front lp of same st as worked back lp and work only in these front lps around. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in each of these front lps around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.

Tie.
Ch51, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Fasten off and weave ends into work.

Assembley
Put over dress on doll, slip skirt under the over dress onto the body of the doll, then tie the tie around the waist and tie into a bow on the back.
