Rainbow Fan Fridgie

This fan fridgie is made from 7 different colors but it can be made from just 1 color. Make each part of the fan separately, stiffen them, then just hot glue everything together.

Materials Needed:
Size 10 Crochet Cotton in 7 colors, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends
Fabric Stiffener
Small flowers of choice
18" satin ribbon ½" wide any color
Hot Glue and gun
Magnet Pieces

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc = 1"
Finished Size: 5"x3½"
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
ROW 1: Make 7 the same, 1 from each color. Ch4. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch1. 8sc in ring. Join w/slst to first sc.

ROW 2: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. Ch3. 2dc in next st. Ch3, turn.

ROW 3: Sk first st. Dc in next dc. Ch1. Dc in next ch3 sp. Ch1. Dc in next dc. Dc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.

ROW 4: Dc in next dc. Ch3. Dc in next dc. Dc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.

ROW 5: Dc in next dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch3. Dc in next dc. Dc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.

ROW 6: Dc in next dc. Ch5. Dc in next dc. Dc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.

ROW 7: Dc in next dc. Dc, ch3, dc in 3rd ch of the next ch5 sp. Dc in next dc. Dc in top of ch3. Ch1, turn.

ROW 8: Sc in first st. Sc in next dc. Dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, ch4, dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc in next ch3 sp. Sk next dc. Sc in next dc, sc in top of ch3. Fasten off. Weave all ends into back of work.

Finishing Assembly: Stiffen each piece separately with fabric stiffener and allow to dry overnight. Glue each piece together using hot glue so that the edges are just touching at the tops and the bottoms are overlapping. See picture for arrangement of colors. Glue flowers on first, just the flowers, not the stems. Tie the 18" piece of ribbon in a bow and glue onto the bottom over the flowers. Glue magnets onto the back.
