Cold Feet Fridgie

This little pair of fridgies is a cute way of expressing thoughts of cold feet just before a wedding. Or it would make a great gag gift at a bridal shower. My husband came up with this idea and I thought it would be really cute.

Materials Needed:
Small amount Red Heart Fingering Weight yarn.
Baby Blue #802 was used in the example
3"x24" piece of tulle
sewing thread &needle
1" piece magnet strip
Size D aluminum Crochet Hook
Yarn needle

Yarn Thickness: 2mm
Gauge: 7hdc =1" with a D hook
Finished Size: 3" long, 1 ¾" wide across the toes, 1" wide across the narrow part.
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
Right Foot
RND 1: Ch12, work 7dc in 3rd ch from hook. Dc in next 3 chs, hdc in next 3 chs, dc in next 2 chs, 10dc in last ch. Now work on the bottom side of the chs. hdc in next 8 chs. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 2: Slst in the first 16 sts. *Ch2, dc in same st as last slst, ch1, slst again in same st. Slst in next st. Rep from* 3 times more. Ch3, 3dc in next st, ch2, slst in same st. Slst in each st to end. Join w/slst to first slst. Fasten off.

Left Foot
RND 1: Ch12, work 7dc in 3rd ch from hook. Hdc in next 9 chs, 10dc in last ch. Now work on the bottom side fo the chs. Dc in the first 2 chs, hdc in next 3 chs, dc in next 3 chs. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 2: Slst in the first 16 sts. Ch2, 3dc in same st as last slst, ch2, slst again in same st. Slst in next st. *Ch2, dc in same st as last slst, ch1, slst again in same st. Slst in next st. Rep from* 3 times more. Slst in each st to end. Join w/slst to first slst. Fasten off.

Assembly
Weave all ends into work. Pass the yarn through the large dc clusters at each end and draw up tight to close the hole. Run a gathering stitch up the middle of the tulle lengthwise. Tack feet too the top of the tulle. Use Aleene's Thick Designer Tacky Glue to glue the magnets to the back.
