Materials Needed
2.5oz Size 10 Crochet Cotton
Aunt Lydia's Jumbo 1 lb in Ecru was used.
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Tapestry Needle

Thread Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 4rx10sts =1"x1"
Finished Size: 19½"hx18"w
Skill Level: Intermediate

60w X 77h Blocks & rows

Instructions
ROW 1: Ch183. Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch3, turn. TIP: Ch a little more but be sure you end up with 181 dc across. If you have any chs left over, just undo the knot at the end and undo the stitches to the work. I had to do this myself cause I miscounted. It's better than having to do it all over again.

ROW 2: Read the chart below from left to right. Work a mesh of Dc, ch2, sk 2 sts, dc in next st. In the filled blocks, just work a dc in each stitch that would ordinarily be skipped.

ROW 3-77: Follow the chart reading from right to left on the odd numbered rows and from left to right on the even numbered rows.

At the end of row 77, fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Iron using either spray starch or Magic Sizeing to help keep it's shape. Just do not apply to much starch. You do not want it to be stiff, just firm enough to keep it's shape. It should still be drapeable.
