Horse Head Filet Doily

Horse Head Filet Doily

Designed by Julie A. Bolduc

This filet pattern is the result of a request awhile back for a horse done in filet. The resulting size of this doily makes it nice to use as a panel for a pillow or even a sewn placemat. Or you can leave it as is to dress up any night stand or end table.

Random Quick Tip!

Wrapping Doilies
If you are going to give a doily as a gift and it is the same diameter as a paper towel roll is long, use the paper towel core to put the doily in. Roll the doily up and tuck into the core. Wrap like a long piece of candy. I have done this and it looked really festive. You may want to use a piece of tissue paper to lay the doily on first before rolling it up.
