Kaleidoscope Doily

Even though I used a solid color to make this doily, I combined net stitch with filet crochet for a very unique kaleidoscope-like design. If you have ever done painting on doilies, you could actually color this to look like a true kaleidoscope design.

Storing Dice or Playing Cards
If you play cards or dice games alot, you can make a soap saver and use it to keep your cards and dice in. You may want to use a bigger hook to make it bigger so the dice and cards will fit. You can also use the soap saver to hold marbles. This would also make a great double gift for any lucky kid. Just be sure the recipient is beyond the "in the mouth with everything age"
