Wavy Dishcloth

This dishcloth is meant to be wavy. A little different from the norm. You can make it easily in an evening so this would make a great last minute gift for a birthday or any other occasion. This pattern also uses the special stitch the braid Stitch.

Materials Needed:
2.5 oz worsted weight cotton yarn. Sugar & Cream Variegated pastels was used in the example
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
Yarn Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc=1"
Finished Size: 9"diameter
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
RND 1: Ch6, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch1. work12sc in ring. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND2: Ch1, 2brd in same st as slst. *2dc in next st. 2brd in next st. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND3: Slst into the first sp between first 2 brd. Ch3, 2dc in same sp. *brd in each of the next 2 dc. 3dc in next sp bet next two brb. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of first brd.

RND 4: Slst into the first sp between brd. Ch3, 2dc in same sp. Ch1. *1brd in each of the next 3 dc. Ch1 3dc in next sp between next 2 brd. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND5: Ch3, 2dc in next dc, dc innext dc. Ch1. 3dc in next sp bet next 2 brd. Ch2. 3dc in next sp bet next 2 brd. Ch1. *Dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc, dc in next dc. Ch1. 3dc in next sp bet next 2 brd. Ch2. 3dc in next sp bet next 2 brd. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND6: Ch3, 1dc in each of the next 3 dc. 3dc in next ch 1 sp. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. 3dc in next ch1 sp. *1dc in each of the next 4 dc. 3dc in next ch 1 sp. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. 3dc innext ch1 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND7: Ch3, work a dc in each dst around but work 2dc, ch2, 2dc in each ch2 sp. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.
