This motif can be used in an afghan or if made with thread can be a snowflake ornament. It is fast and easy to make and you could make several in an evening. Also if you make it into an afghan, it makes a great take along project. Imagine making all of the motifs in white with the last round in dark blue then stitched together with dark blue. It would look like snowflakes floating in a field of blue.

Random Quick Tip!
Weighted Pin CushionsWhen making pincushions, to help your it stay in place, weight it down with smooth stones or large metal washers. Put the weights on the bottom of your pincushion. That way, when removing pins from them, the pincushion should stay in place.
