Even though I made this snowflake coaster with ecru, it would be wonderful if you made a bunch with white for part of your holiday decorating. They would also make wonderful package toppers or a set of 6 of them would make a great gift to give a loved one.
Materials Needed:
Small amount Speed Cro Sheen in White or Ecru
Size 0 Steel crochet hook
Small yarn needle
Yarn Thickness: 5thread
Gauge: Center of coaster should measure 1" across.
Finished Size: 5½" from point to point.
Skill Level: Beginner
Special Stitch Instructions
Spoon Stitch (spn)
Insert hook in place indicated. Pull up a lp. Yo pull through one lp on hook twice as if to ch. Rep from beg 2 more times. Yo pull through all 4 lps on hook.
Instructions
RND 1: Ch 3. dc in 3rd ch from hook. Ch1. *2dc in same ch. Ch1. Rep from * 4 more times. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 2: Slst into the first ch 1 sp. Beg spn in ch1 sp. Ch3. Spn in same ch1 sp. Ch1. *Spn, ch3, spn in next ch1 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
RND 3: Slst to the first ch3 sp. Ch3, 2dc in same sp, ch3, 3dc in same sp. Ch1. *2dc in next ch1 sp. Ch1. 3dc, ch3, 3dc in next ch3 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join wslst to top of ch3.
RND 4: Slst into the first ch3 sp. Ch6, dc, ch5, dc, ch3, dc in first ch3 sp. Ch1. Dc in next ch1 sp. Ch1. Dc in next ch1 sp. Ch1. *Dc, ch3, dc, ch5, dc, ch3, dc in next ch3 sp. Ch1. Dc in next ch1 sp. Ch1. Dc in next ch1 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch6. Fasten off and weave ends into work.
