This coaster would make a great gift as a set of 6 made up of different color combinations. It is fast and easy to make!
Materials Needed:
Small amount Cotton worsted weight yarn.
Peaches & Creme Dusty Rose(MC) and Sugar & Cream varigated pastels (CC) used in the example.
Size H/8 or 5.00mm aluminum crochet hook
Yarn Needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 3mm
Gauge: 4dc=1"
Finished Size: 5"x5"
Skill Level: Beginner
Instructions
RND 1: With MC. Ch5, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch2. 2hdc in ring. Ch2. *3hdc in ring. Ch2. Rep from * 3 times more. Join w/slst to top of ch2.
RND 2: Slst into the next hdc. Ch4, dc in same st. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in next ch2 sp. *Sk next dc. Dc, ch1, dc in next dc. 2dc, ch2, 2dc in next ch2 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4. Fasten off MC.
RND 3: Join CC in same st as slst. Ch1. Sc in next ch1 sp. *Sc in each of the next 3 sts. 3sc in next ch2 sp. Sc in each of the next 3 sts. Sc in next ch1 sp. Rep from * around but join w/slst to ch1 at the end of the round. Fasten off CC.
RND 4: Join MC in same st as slst. Sc in each st around but work 3 sc in the 2nd sc of the three sc in the ch2 corner sp of last round. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave all ends into back of work.
