Victorian Christmas Tree Skirt

This crocheted victorian Christmas Tree Skirt is made with 10 panels that are crocheted together to form a complete circle. Then a collar is made at the top to make the neck of the skirt smaller. It is fun and easy to make but it is a big project that is time consuming.

Instructions
Make 10 Panels the same then crochet them together from top to bottom, then crochet the collar to the top at the end.
You will be increasing the width of every other row by 2 stitches, 1 stitch at the beginning and end of the dc rows.
ROW 1: With VCTRN XMAS Color No. 0102. Ch11. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch3, turn.
ROW 2: Dc in the very first sc. Ch2. Sk 2 sc. Dc in each of the next 4 sc. Ch2. Sk 2 sc. 2dc in last sc. Ch1, turn.

RND 3: Join white in first ch2 sp of previous round. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3 dc in same sp. Ch1, 3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp, 11 times. Ch1. 5dc, ch2, 5 dc in next ch2 sp. (This space should be at the bottom corner of the panel.) Ch1, 3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch3 sp, 3 times. Ch1. 5dc, ch2, 5dc in next ch2 sp, twice. Assembly
Put 2 of the panels together wrong sides facing each other and line them up so the ch2 spaces line up with each other. Start at the narrow end and work your way down to the wide end. Join white in 2nd ch2 space on upper left corner of the panel working through both layers at the same time. Ch7, sc in next ch2 sp, 7 times. Ch11. Sc in the ch2 space of the corner shell. Fasten off and weave ends into work. Repeat this for each panel. You will have a total of 9 seams.
Collar Lay work in front of you so the right side is facing you.
ROW 1: Join white yarn in top right corner ch2 sp on first panel. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3 dc in same ch2 sp. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp, 3dc in each of the next 2 ch2 spaces where the panels are joined, 9 times. 3dc, ch2, 3 dc in each of the last 2 ch2 spaces. Ch1, turn.
ROW 2: Slst in each of the first 3 dc and into the next ch2 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3 dc in same sp. (3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Sk next 5 dc. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. ) Rep bet () 8 times more. 3dc, ch2, 3dc in each of the last 2 ch2 spaces. Ch1, turn.
ROW 3: Slst in each of the first 3 dc and into the next ch2 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in same sp. 3d, ch2, 3dc in each ch2 sp across. Fasten off and weave all ends into back of work.
