Brass Ring Bag Holder

This bag holder has a wide open mouth at the top and is closed at the bottom. It hangs using a cabone ring at the very top. It is made with 3 colors but can be easily made with only 1 color.

Materials Needed
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in blue, light yellow and bright yellow
Size J/10 6mm aluminum crochet hook
1 cabone ring - 1" diam
1 brass craft ring - 5" diam
Yarn needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc = 1"
Finished Size: 5" x 15"
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
RND 1: Ch6, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch4. *Dc in ring. Ch1. Rep from * 10 times more. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4.

RND 2: Slst into the first ch 1 sp. Ch4, dc in same sp. Ch1. *Dc, ch1, dc in next ch1 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4. Fasten off blue.

RND 3: Join light yellow in any ch1 sp. Ch4. *Dc in next ch1 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4.

RND 4 & 5: Slst into the next ch1 sp. Ch4. *Dc in next ch1 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch4. At the end of RND 5, fasten off.

RND 6: With blue, rep RND 3. Fasten off.

RND 7: With bright yellow, rep RND 3. Fasten off.

RND 8: Rep RND 6.

RND 9-11: Rep RNDs 3-5.

RND 12-14: Rep RNDs 6-8.

RND 15-17: Rep RND 3-5.

RND 18 & 19: Rep RND 3 & 4 with blue. Do not fasten off.

RND 20: Join to ring working 1 sc in each dc and ch1 sp around, while working on the ring at the same time. Join w/slst to first sc. Do not fasten off.

Finishing Hanger: Ch10. Pick up cabone ring. Work 10sc in cabone ring. Ch10. Turn work around so you are going the opposite way. Sk 10 sc on brass ring. Slst in next sc. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.

I managed to stuff 12 plastic shopping bags in this holder but I probably could fit more if I tried.
