Baby Angel

This cute little angel is made with worsted weight acrylic yarn but could be easily made with size 10 crochet cotton and a size 7 steel hook for a tiny angel.

Materials Needed
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in white
Polyester Fiber fill
Hot Glue and gun
Size H/8 aluminum crochet hook
Yarn needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc =1"
Finished Size: 4"x3¼"
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
RND 1: Head: Ch2. 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 2: Ch1. 2sc in same st as slst. 2sc in each sc around. Join w/slst to first sc. (12sc)

RND 3-5: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst and in each sc around. Join w/slst to first sc. (12sc)

RND 6: Ch1. Sc in same st as slst. Sk next st. *Sc in next st. Sk next st. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc. (6sc)

RND 7: Ch3. Dc in same st as slst. 4dc in next st. 2dc in each of the next 2 sts. 4dc in next st. 2dc in next st. Join w/slst to top of ch3. (16dc)

RND 8: Ch3, dc in same st as slst. 2dc in next st. Sk 4 sts. 2dc in each of the next 4 sts. Sk next 4 sts. 2dc in each of the next 2 sts. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 9: Ch3, dc in same st as slst. 2dc in each st around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 10: Ch3. Dc in each st around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off.

Special Stitch Arms: Ch4, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch 16. Slst in 4th ch from hook. Sc in each of the next 12 chs. Slst in next st. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Set arms aside for now.

RND 1 Wings: Ch4. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch4. Slst in 4th ch from hook. Ch5. Slst in 5th ch from hook. Ch5. Slst in 5th ch from hook. Slst to the first ch of the first ch 4 lp.

RND 2 Wings: Sc, hdc, dc, ch3 slst in 3rd ch from hook, dc, hdc, sc in both ch4 lps. Work the following in each of the next 2 ch5 lps. (Sc, hdc, dc, tr, ch3, slst in 3rd ch from hook, tr, dc, hdc, sc.) Slst in first sc in first ring. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.

Special Stitch Halo: Ch6. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch1. Sc, ch3, slst in 3rd ch from hook. *Sc in ring. ch3, slst in 3rd ch from hook. Rep from * 4 times more. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off & weave ends into back of work.

Finishing Assembly: Using hot glue, glue wings to back, halo to back of head. Pull Arms through arm holes. Attach hanger of choice to back of neck to hang on tree.
