This two layered scrunchie is fast and fun to make. You can use just 1 color if you choose to or you can use any 2 colors you want.

Worsted weight acrylic yarn in any color.
Worsted weighty acrylic yarn in 2nd any color.
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
Large hair elastic
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc = 1"
Finished Size: 5" diam
Skill Level: Beginner
RND 1: Join color 1 in elastic. Treat the elastic like a ring. (Ch6. 2dc in 3rd ch from hook. Ch2, slst in same ch. Sc in each of the next 3 chs. Sc in elastic. Rep bet () once. Rep from * 9 times. Join w/slst to first ch to the first ch of ch6. Fasten off purple.
RND 2: Turn work over. Join white in any space under a ch3 sp. Repeat as for first side but work each "arm" in the space under the ch3 sp and work each ch3 across the arm of the first layer. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.
