This scrunchie is a bit different from the other ones I have designed. It is made so that half of the elastic is full and the other half is just covered. I have seen this type before and wanted to design one.

Small amount Dawn Sayelle worsted weight yarn. Dark Dusty Rose.
One large hair elastic like Goody.
Size H/8 5.00mm aluminum crochet hook.
Yarn Needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 3mm
Finished Size: 4½" diameter
Skill Level: Beginner
ROW 1: Join yarn on elastic band. *Sc. Ch1. Rep from * 13 times more. Then ch3 more. Dc in band. **Ch2. Dc in band. Rep from ** 12 times more. Ch4, turn. Now you will work in rows.
ROW 2: Dc, ch2, dc (V st made )in first ch2 sp and in each ch2 sp across. Ch 1. Dc in 3rd ch of ch4. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 3: *4dc in next Vst. Sc in space just before next vst. Rep from * across. Sc in 3rd ch of ch4. Fasten off and weave ends into work.
