These earrings are really fast and easy to make and don't weight that much hanging on the ears. You could also make them with gold or silver thread for Christmas time!

Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends
Pair of fish hook ear wires
Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc = 1"
Finished Size: 1 3/8" diam
Skill Level: Beginner
RND 1: Make 2 the same. With red. Ch5. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch2. Hdc in same ch as slst. 2hdc in each ch around. Join w/slst to top of ch2. Fasten off red.
RND 2: Join white in same st as slst. ch4. Tr in same st. Ch3. Sc in next st. Ch3. *2tr in next st. Ch3. Sc in next st. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch4. Fasten off.
RND 3: Join blue in same st as slst. Ch4. Sc in next tr. Sc in each of the next 3 chs. Sk the sc. S cin each of the next 3 chs. *Sc in next tr. Ch3. Sc in next tr. Sc in in each of the next 3 chs. Sk next sc. Sc in each of the next 3 chs. Rep from * around. Joni w/slst to first ch of ch4. Fasten off. Weave ends in to back of work.
Finishing Assembly: Attach earwires to hole in one of the points. You can use jump rings if you need to.
