Mug Rug Coaster

This is a red and white coaster made with Worsted Weight Yarn and has unique stitches. I figured out the stitches on my own but think that maybe this stitch already exists. This uses the Static Stitch which sort of looks sort of like teeth.

Small amount each red and white Worsted Weight Yarn.
Size H Hook
Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 3 sc =1"
Finished Size: 5" x 4"
Skill Level: Intermediate
ROW 1: With Red, ch 16, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 3, turn.
ROW 2: Dc in 2nd sc, *ch 2, sk 2 sts, dc in next st. Repeat from * across ending with 1 dc in each of the last 2 sc. Drop red but do not fasten off.
ROW 3: Tie on white, (Sc in the first 2 sts. Make a de in each of the sk st in the previous row working over the 2 chs. Sc in dc, repeat from * across ending with a sc in each of the last 2 sts. Ch 3, turn.)
ROW 4: Repeat ROW 2.
ROW 5: Drop White, pick up red and repeat row 3 bet ().
ROW 6: Repeat ROW 2.
ROW 7: Drop Red, pick up white and repeat row 3 bet().
ROW 8: Repeat ROW 2.
ROW 9: Drop white, pick up red and repeat row 3 bet ().
ROW 10: Sc in each st across. Fasten off Red.
Tie White Yarn onto the top left corner stitch. Ch 1, work 4 sc in this same sp. Work 1 sc in each row down the left side, 4 in the corner, 1 in each stitch across the bottom, 4 in the next corner, 1 in each row up the right side, 4 in the last corner and one in each st across the top. Sl st to ch 1 to join. Fasten off and weave ends of yarn into back of work.
