Scavenger Hunt

Today's Scavenger Hunt Item
The item for Today is below.
Item: You are hunting for "A Rainbow".
Clue: You will find it in the Bookmark patterns!

I am now using images that are in either of the 2 Paper Bead Generators, or a thumbnail image of a pattern relevant to the current time period, for the daily Scavenger Hunt Items.

The daily scavenger hunt item can only be found for one day.

The instant prize is access to a Gold Members Only crochet pattern that is free for today only for everyone! The pdf file is not part of the prize.

 The Points Program Has Started!

A special code has been placed under this image, on the page that will have the scavenger hunt item on it. Sign up for a Free Points Account and you can claim 1000 points for finding today's item! you can also get free access to the page that it is on! As of August 5, 2020, I have fixed the problem of not being able to access the pattern page that the link goes to if you are not a gold member. Now anyone who finds the scavenger hunt item, member or not can access the pattern page for one day.  Not the PDF though.

Points Program News

Points accounts are Back!

I am still ironing out the little wrinkles in the system but it is up and running! Sign up now and join in the fun! Earn points for use in downloading Gold Members only files! I am slowly adding download buttons you can use to redeem points for patterns and templates. The buttons will be placed on a download page like it was on the old version of the site last year. It will take awhile to add all of them.

I have come up with something that Gold members can redeem their points for. The way I expect to be able to set it up is I will make a page just for Gold members that will have listings on it that you can redeem points for. The items will be things I already sell at Amazon and Etsy but they will be available through the points system. Only for Gold members. There may be shipping charges, there may be not. I will be getting that part of the Points Program set up within the next couple of months. So meanwhile, keep adding points to your points account so you can take advantage of the discounts and perhaps freebies when redeeming points!

Tuesday's Tips

Keep Your Work Area Tidy I use a trash container or little bowl next to me in the kitchen when I am cutting up veggies, to throw out scraps. When the small container is full, or when I am done preparing, I empty the container into the trash can. You can do the same in your craft room or area. Just keep a small container next to you while you work and put your scraps of what ever you are working with, into the small bin, then when you are done, you can empty the bin into your larger trash can or recycle bin.

Inexpensive Gift Boxes Save those cereal and cracker boxes and use them as gift boxes. Just flatten them and once in a while, decorate one for Christmas or birthdays. Apply Gesso or white primer, or craft paint and decorate to your heart's content. Let your imagination go wild. When you are done decorating, and ready to use for a gift, use double stick tape to fasten the bottom of the box and put your gift inside, loosely wrapped with tissue paper. Then seal the other side with more double stick tape and either wrap as other gifts or just put a name tag on the festive gift box as it is.
