Item: You are hunting for "a Vampire in a Coffin".

I am now using images that are in either of the 2 Paper Bead Generators, or a thumbnail image of a pattern relevant to the current time period, for the daily Scavenger Hunt Items.
The daily scavenger hunt item can only be found for one day.

Sign up for a Free Points Account and you can claim 1000 points for finding today's item! you can also get free access to the page that it is on! As of August 5, 2020, I have fixed the problem of not being able to access the pattern page that the link goes to if you are not a gold member. Now anyone who finds the scavenger hunt item, member or not can access the pattern page for one day. Not the PDF though.
This pattern is Not Free.
This pencil cup is made a bit differently from the other ones I have designed. I actually took the time to punch holes around the rim to make the crochet part permanent. It is made like the clutter bags I have designed in the past.
From now on, I will featured either free or for members patterns. The members patterns will not be free but they will be available for either $1.99 or for 19,900 points for those who have a free points account. They will always be available to Gold Members without having to redeem points.

YahooGroups is Ending!
As of December 15, 2020, Yahoo Groups is Ending!
Yahoo sent announced they will be ending their YahooGroups part of their services so I have found a new mailing list service to send my daily messages to.
If you are subscribed at YahooGroups to receive the daily messages, I have already automatically added you to that new list server. If you want to keep receiving my daily messages, letting you know the newsletter is ready, you don't need to do anything. If you no longer want the daily messages sent to your email address, there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each message I will be sending out. The online newsletter format will stay the same, there will just be more information in the daily message I send out by email to the list.
If you are not getting daily messages and you want them, I have added the sign up form in the JPFun News & Updates section to every page on the site. Look under the Social Media buttons for the link. .
Easier Crocheting Dark Yarns To make it easier to crochet or knit with black or other really dark yarns, lay a white cloth across your lap. You will be able to see the stitches better. You can also use a light above your work which will help to enhance the stitches.
No Slip Quilting Rulers! If you need to make a quilting ruler, or a machine quilting ruler non slip, and you don't have any of those commercial stick on things to do so, you can use E6000 glue on the back side of your ruler. Just put a straight bead down one edge and use a squeegee device such as a scraper or plastic old credit card to spread it on the ruler as smoothly, thinly and evenly as you can. Allow to dry overnight before using. I did this to one of mine and it works better than other products I used in the past. It dries clear so you can still see through your ruler! I am using it on a machine quilting ruler I have. I can move my fabric through the machine with the ruler! Make sure to follow safety precautions when using.
