I have decided to end the Paid Memberships Program and just go with the Points Program. If you are a paid member, you signed up for a lifetime membership and are no longer paying for memberships. I am not really making any money from new memberships so it does not make sense to keep that part of my business going. Instead, membership is going to be point based. I do not plan to change this again. My income will be from sales of Paper Bead Rollers, downloads for people who don't want to be a member, books I publish in the future on Amazon, templates and template bundles, ads on the site and YouTube revenue.
All downloads, that cost points, no matter what level you are at, will now cost 20,000 points each unless otherwise noted on the individual pages.

Daily Update - February 13, 2022
For the week of February 8th, I will be spending most of my time making paper bead rollers to restock my inventory. It's been a great Christmas season and January! Thank you to everyone who ordered over the past 2 months! It is greatly appreciated! I do all of the work myself with a little help when I need it from my husband. I do not have employees so it takes time to make inventory. I will get back to the quilt blocks as soon as I can, perhaps, by Monday February 14th, I will be able to post a new block.
From now on, any newsletter page that is one year old or older will no longer be on the site. In other words, Newsletters will stay on the site for 1 year.
Just Plain Fun has been On Line Since January, 1997!! That is just over 25 years!
Here is a link to the Way Back Machine that shows what my very first website looked like way back then! It has paper beads! The way back machine took it's first snapshot of my web site on October 16, 1997. It is just a shell of what it actually used to look like but I thought you might be interested in knowing I have been on line for a very long time and plan to be here until I cannot work anymore. This is my full time job. This is how I make my living.
I am working on a series of Quilt Block Videos done in the Quilt as You Piece method. When I am done, there should be 30 quilt blocks that I will then put together with sashing in between the blocks. I do plan to make a video of putting the quilt together. This is the primary way I make quilts.
The quilt in the photo is the front of the quilt block, the back is the same pattern, just different fabrics. The patterns and materials list are on the site as well, the same day I post the video I make for each block. The very first block, Five Strip Rail Fence is free for everyone, no points needed and no membership needed. Most of the rest of the blocks for this quilt will be for Members. You can get them with points or for $1.99 each or as a Gold member, you will not need to redeem points or pay anything for the PDF files.
Oh My Goodness! I just ordered an Accuquilt Go Big Electric Die cutter! There will be an unboxing video when I get it. I have big quilting plans in the future. If you are interested in knowing about the Accuquilt die cutting system, you can check it out at this link: Accuquilt Web Site. This is a referral link. If you buy anything at their web site, with this link, you will get 20% off of your purchase and I get a discount as well!
This pattern is Always Free.
This heart fridgie is made by following a filet crochet chart then a round of shells is worked around the perimeter. Then the heart is embellished with pearl white and clear red beads which you can feel. The magnet on the back is from a magnet sheet you can get for printing on your inkjet printer. You can also recycle a large piece of flat sheet magnet if you have one.
This bead sheet was made with the same public domain image, I found on the web, I used for the Lacy Hearts Bead Sheet and I manipulated it to make it look the way it does. I love Kaleidoscope designs. To me it looks really romantic and would make great beads for a pretty Valetine's day necklace or bracelet when you combine it with gold or silver findings and crystal, pearl or even red glass beads.
If you hang your paper beads vertically, expect them to stick to each other. Use a pair of needle nose or round nose pliers to break apart the beads after every dip if they are really stuck together and hard to break apart with your fingers.
