What am I Doing?

I am working on a series of Quilt Block Videos done in the Quilt as You Piece method. When I am done, there should be 30 quilt blocks that I will then put together with sashing in between the blocks. I do plan to make a video of putting the quilt together. This is the primary way I make quilts.
The quilt in the photo is the front of the quilt block, the back is the same pattern, just different fabrics. The patterns and materials list are on the site as well, the same day I post the video I make for each block. The very first block, Five Strip Rail Fence is free for everyone, no points needed and no membership needed. Most of the rest of the blocks for this quilt will be for Members. You can get them with points or for $1.99 each or as a Gold member, you will not need to redeem points or pay anything for the PDF files.
Featured Pattern
This pattern is Free on December 3rd only.
This card pocket is just the thing you need to keep all of your holiday cards in that you get from all of your friends and family! It uses plastic canvas for its form so it is nice and sturdy and should hold up to years of use.
Christmas Card Holder Pocket
Featured Bead Sheet

This bead sheet is Not Free.
This bead sheet was made on a 3" square piece of card stock, painted with shaving cream and food coloring. Then it was scanned into my computer and imported into my publishing software. This would be great for beads for Christmas! You could combine the beads made with this sheet with gold or silver findings and red, green, white or clear beads for a really festive look in a necklace or bracelet.

This Week's Tip
Here is an Ornament Idea
Cut a circle or oval shape from a lid. Punch holes evenly around the perimeter with a 1/4" or 1/8" paper punch. Then, with yarn and a needle, work a star on the front and back of the plastic doing a criss cross method of lacing. Then when you like the look. Work a row of sc around the perimeter then a row of picots around that. This would be a good beginner project.
