JPF Crochet Club Terms & Conditions
- Grown Up's Only: Must be at least 18 years of age or older to join. It's not a matter of subject matter but of a financial one. This site is safe for kids of all ages.
- Recurring Payment Accounts
- 2Checkout.com
If you signed up and paid through 2Checkout.com, your credit or debit card will be automatically charged by 2Checkout.com either every month or every year depending on which period of time you chose. It will be charged on or around the same date each month and you will not receive notices, from the JPF Crochet Club web site. I have no control when your credit card or debit card is charged. The date which your account is charged depends on what date you first sign up. If you want to cancel the recurring charges, you can send an email to me by clicking on the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page to request cancellation. Once you have canceled your account, I will manually go into your account and adjust your account to expire in the amount of days you have left depending on when your next payment was to be due.
- Paypal
If you signed up and paid through Paypal.com, your paypal account or credit or debit card will be automatically charged by Paypal.com either every month, every 90 days, every 6 months or every year depending on which period of time you chose. It will be charged on or around the same date each month and you will not receive notices, from the JPF Crochet Club web site. I have no control when your credit card or debit card is charged. The date which your account is charged depends on what date you first sign up. If you want to cancel the recurring charges, please go here to cancel your account. There is a cancel button on that page which goes to Paypal.com. Once you have canceled your account, I will manually go into your account and adjust your account to expire in the amount of days you have left depending on when your next payment was to be due.
- Single Payment Accounts
When you pay with Paypal.com, 2 Checkout.com or a check or money order and you are signing up for a single payment option of 1 month, 90 days, 6 months or 1 year, your account will expire either 30, 90, 183 or 365 days, respectively, from the date I add your account to the system.
- One Account Only: You cannot have more than 1 JPF Crochet Club account for access to the JPF Crochet Club patterns & protected area. If I find you signed up twice with 2 separate payments, I will deactivate the one you really did not want to have and refund any money spent for the account you did not want. I may not catch all accounts with duplicates so if you think you have a duplicate account, please let me know by using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.
- Receiving Emails: You must agree to receive emails from the owner of the JPF Crochet Club web site to keep informed of changes, new patterns, or anything else which may or may not affect your membership.
- Bouncing Email Policy: I do not get notices of bouncing emails so if you say you never received notices or your username and password when you signed up, then your email account could be bouncing so your information is not getting to you. Please make sure your email account is in good working order or you have the correct email address in your account at the JPF Crochet Club web site.
- Crochet Club Points: The points you have in your point account will be able to be used to "purchase" special stitch charts and other special patterns in the future. They cannot be redeemed for cash. All memberships will have to be paid for with real money.
- Indemnification: By using this web site you agree to indemnify it's creator and all members of the JPF Crochet Club web site including but not limited to, it's owner and administrator Julie A. Bolduc (from Just Plain Fun).
- Privacy Policy: Your email address and personal information will not be given, sold, rented or traded at any time for any reason. I will do everything in my power to keep your email address private and use it for my own web site. It will be kept in an inaccessable area of the host server so that no email harvester or anyone but me can access it. The only way I can access your email address is through password protected scripts and through my password protected ftp account with my host server. I am the only one who knows the passwords to access any of the places where email addresses are kept. On occasion, I may send you an announcement that relates to the web site when I do it will have [JPFun] or [JPFun ADV] or some other JPF related text in the subject line.
If you sign the guestbook and you choose to make your name clickable with your email address, you do so at your own risk. It is possible for harvesters to scan that page when it is being displayed even though the page is made when the program is run. The information is actually in a text file which is not accessable to an email address harvester.
- Pattern Policy: I reserve the right to take down old patterns, reconfigure them and offer them in pdf files as well as in HTML format. Once a pattern has been converted into PDF format, the only way you will be able to get to the pattern directly is through a special page with Google ads on them. A PDF link and an HTML link will be on that page along with a picture of the pattern. The Google ads, through Google Adsense, will be on every Pattern download page which helps keep the free patterns free.
- Copyright Notice
Please, do not sell any of the patterns on my site anywhwere. They are for your own personal use. You can make the items and give them away and you can sell items made from the free patterns with permission.
But please, please do not sell any of my patterns.
Your account will be cancelled or suspended without a refund.
- Finally: By signing up for the JFP Crochet Club, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions even if you have not read them all.
