Spoon Stitch (spn)
This stitch is an individual stitch that can be worked into any pattern worked in the round or row by row. It is a variation on the bobble. It resembles the bobble but it is made in a different way. Instructions
Insert hook into stitch indicated, draw up a loop, yo, draw lp through one lp on hook twice. Rep from beg 2 more times. Yo and draw through all 4 lps on hook.

This creates a stitch that has along strand on the back side of the stitch off to the side a bit going from the top of the stitch to the base of the stitch. This is formed the first time the hook is inserted into the stitch indicated.

To see this stitch in use, I have put it in a few of this month's patterns. The coaster, dishcloth, and potholder.
