Side Stitchen Scrunchie

This scrunchie is made in a way where a chain is worked then each chain has dc's worked on each one. It is fast and easy to make and would make a great addition to anyone's scrunchie wardrobe.

Worsted weight acrylic yarn in any color you want.
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
Large hair elastic
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc =1"
Finished Size: 5" diam
Skill Level: Beginner
RND 1: Join yarn onto elastic. *Sc in elastic. Ch6. Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each of the next 2 chs. Dc in elastic. Ch2. Rep from * until the elastic is full about 13 times. You can add more or less if needed. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.
