The hearts are made with cluster stitches worked over 2dc. It is a fun and fairly fast square to make and would make a great pillowghan square for a friendship exchange.

The yarn in this square was Red Heart Super Saver. It has 2 rounds with cluster stitches in it but for the most part, it has just double crochets and single crochets.

It is very versatile. This square does tend to be wavy. This is a great pattern to use up scraps you may have.

Wavy Pillowghan Square Date Added: September 13, 1999 This square is a bit different from the normal pillowghan square. It is wavy. If you want it to lie flat, you could use a larger hook. I made it this way just to be different. If you use a soft type of worsted weight yarn, this would produce a very luxurious afghan!
