Wood Ring Key ChainDesigned By Julie A. Bolduc
This key chain is made from a 3" wooden ring that has had a screw eye and split ring added to it. Actually this would make a great bazaar item. It is fairly quick to make and very inexpensive as well.

1 wooden ring 3" x ½"
1/16" drill bit
1 Screw Eye ½"
1 small split key ring

Drill hole into wooden ring anywhere on the outside of it. Screw the screw eye into it. Put ring onto screw eye. (You can order a ring with all of this already done if you like. Just email me for details.)
RND 1: Tie yarn onto ring just to the left of the screw eye. Sc in ring. *Ch3. 2sc in ring. Rep from * until wooden ring is completely filled. I did not count how many times. Just repeat it until you fill it up. Then join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave ends into work.
You can use worsted weight acrylic or cotton yarn and an H/8 5mm aluminum hook for faster, more bulky results.
