Scallop Edged Placemat

Scallop Edged Placemat Designed By Julie A. Bolduc

This placemat is started with a strip which is then crocheted around and then is finished off with a round of scallops in a pretty contrasting color. It would make a great addition to any dining table and the colors can be changed for any season.

*I used a cone of Peaches & Creme of each color but for the contrasting final round, you can use one ball. The variegated yarn is Sunrise and the other yarn is Ecru! I think you could get 3 placemat, last rounds from one ball. And probably 3 or 4 placemats from one cone of the main color.
