Buttoned Up Bracelet

This bracelet is made with buttons but could be made with beads. It is fast and easy to make and you do not need a clasp for it!

Size 5 crochet cotton in white
9 shank style buttons ½" diam
Size B/1 or 2.25mm aluminum crochet hook
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends
Yarn Thickness: 5thread
Finished Size: 8"long x5/8" wide
Skill Level: Beginner
Special Stitch Buttoned Double Crochet (bdc): Yo, insert hook in next st. Yo, pull up a lp, yo pull through 2 lps on hook, bring up a button, yo pull thread through last 2 lps on hook.
ROW 1: Ch50. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch8, turn. The ch8 will form the button loop.
ROW 2: Dc in the very first sc and in each of the next 2 sc. Bdc in next sc, dc in each of the next 4dc, 8 times. Bdc in last sc. Ch1, turn.
ROW 2 Wings: Sc in each st across. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Use the button loop to fasten the bracelet on your wrist.
