This beaded star can also be made into a pin by using size 10 thread and seed beads instead of "E" Beads. Or you can use varigated browns to make a star fish.

Small amount worsted weight yarn in white.
Red Heart Was used in the example
Size H aluminum crochet hook
E Beads about 16 Red and 50 Blue.
Yarn needle and sewing needle
Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4sc =1"
Finished Size: =3" diameter
Skill Level: Easy
RND 1: Ch4, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch2, work 15, hdc in ring. Join w/slst tofirst hdc. Yes this is right.
RND 2: Ch1, work the fol in first st, *(sc, hdc, dc, tr, ch3, join w/slst to 3rd ch from hook) work the fol in the next st. tr, dc, hdc, sc. Slst in next st. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten of weave ends into back of work.
Sew the beads onto the star according to the picture. Spacing them about ¼" apart. Use the sewing thread doubled up.
