Fashion Doll Christmas Cape

This cape would look lovely with any Fashion doll outfit. The dress that the doll is wearing is a pattern here at this site.

Materials Needed:
Small amount size 10 crochet cotton. Southmaid was used.
Christmas shades and red.
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Tapestry needle

Gauge: 10sc=1"
Finished Size: =Fits an 11½" fashion Doll
Skill Level: Easy

Instructions
With Christmas Shades
Collar
ROW 1: Ch22. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch1, turn.
ROW 2: Sc in first sc. *Sk next sc. Dc, ch3, dc in next sc. Sk next sc. Sc in next sc. Rep from * across. Fasten off and weave ends into work.

Cape
Turn work around so that you will now work on the starting chain on the other side.

ROW 1: Join red on the first st of starting chain. Sc in first ch and in each ch across. Ch4, turn.

ROW 2: Sc in first sc. Ch4. Sk next sc. Sc in next st. *Ch4, sk next st. Sc in next st. Rep from * across. Ch1, turn.

ROW 3: Sc in first sc. *Dc, ch3, dc, ch3, dc in next ch 4 lp. Sc in next sc. Rep from * across.

ROW 4: Sc in first sc. Sc, dc, ch3, dc, sc in each ch3 sp across. Sc in last sc. Ch3, turn.

ROW 5: Dc, ch3, dc in each ch3 sp across. Dc in last sc. Ch1, turn.

ROW 6-18: Repeat rows 4 & 5 until you reach row 18. Fasten off and weave ends into work. You can add a ribbon to the collar if you like. I didn't because it stays on the doll very well without it.
