This scrunchie is done in two rounds. This is a bit different from any other I have done. I have never tried this technique. You might want to use 2 colors of yarn to make this for a different effect.

Materials Needed
Small amount Aunt Lydia's Denim Quick Crochet in grey. Color #1062 Oxford
Size G/6 aluminum crochet hook
Large Hair Elastic
Yarn Needle

Yarn Thickness: 3mm
Gauge: 5dc=1"
Finished Size: 5" diameter
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
RND 1: Tie yarn onto elastic. Treat the elastic as a ring. *Ch4. Dc in 4th ch from hook. Ch1. Work 3sc around the post of the dc just made. Sc in elastic ring. Rep from * until the elastic is full, about 26 times. Join w/slst to first ch of the first ch4.

RND 2: Slst to the 2nd ch of the first ch4 lp. 3sc in same sp. Ch3. *3sc in next ch4 sp. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work.
