Farmington SquareDesigned By Julie A. BolducThis pattern is another one named for a town in Maine. The way it is made is each row is fastened off to change colors. If you made this in one color, it would not have the same effect. You really should make this in more than one color.

RND 3: Join yellow in any center sp bet groups. Not in the ch2 sp. Ch4. Sk next 2 dc. Sc in next dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch2 sp. Ch3. Sc in next dc. Ch3. sk next 2 dc. *Sc in next sp bet dc groups. Ch3. sk next 2 dc. Sc in next dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch2 sp. Ch3. Sc in next dc. Ch3. Sk next 2 dc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first ch of ch4. Fasten off yellow. RND 4: Join white in the ch3 sp to the left of where you ended the last round. Ch3. 2dc in same sp. 3dc in next ch3 sp. Ch2. 3dc in each of the next 2 ch3 sps. *3dc in next 2 ch3 sps. Ch2. 3dc in each of the next 2 ch3 sps. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off white. RND 5: Join purple in same st as slst. Ch1. Sc in each of the next 5 dc. Sc ch2, sc in next ch2 sp. Sc in each of the next 6 dc. *sc in each of the next 6 dc. Sc, ch2, sc in next ch2 sp. Sc in each of the next 6 dc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off purple. RND 6: Join yellow in same st as slst. Ch1. Sc in each of the next6 sc. Sc, ch2, sc in next ch2 sp. Sc in each of the next 7 sc. *sc in each of the next 7 sc.
