Image of Chain Link Sampler Square

Chain Link Sampler Square

Designed By Julie A. Bolduc

This is the first pattern I designed to be specifically a sampler square. I have also designed a baby afghan using this stitch pattern and 2 colors but you need to be a member to be able to get that pattern.

It has come to my attention that this pattern stitch already exists on another web site. : ) Priscilla Hewitt, has come up with this technique first. I had no idea she had come up with this pattern stitch first. Really! She made a sampler square as well.

Materials Needed
Small amount worsted weight acrylic yarn.
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook.
yarn needle

Yarn Thickness: 3mm
Gauge: 4sc=1"
Finished Size: 6"x6"
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
