Filet Net Star Doily

This doily is made starting with net stitch and finishes off with filet crochet in the last 3 rounds.

Materials Needed
Size 10 crochet cotton in color of choice. Southmaid in blue was used in the example
Size 7 Steel crochet hook
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc = 1"
Finished Size: 7"diam
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
RND 1: Ch8, join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch1. 16 sc in ring. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 2: Ch3, dc in same st as slst. Ch2. Sk 1 st. *2dc in next st. Ch2. Sk 1 st. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 3: Ch3, dc in same st as slst. Ch2. 2dc in next st. *2dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch2. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 4: Ch3. Dc in next dc. Ch2. *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 5: Ch3. Dc in next dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch2 sp. ch3. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch2 sp. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 6: Ch3. Dc in next dc. (Ch3, sc in next ch3 sp, twice. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2 dc.) *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 7: Ch3, dc in next dc. (Ch3. Sk next ch3 sp. Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch3. Sk next ch3 sp. Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch3. Sk next ch3 sp.) *Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.
