Net Stitch Flower Doily

This doily can be made in an evening. It is a small one, just perfect for a little accent on a small end table.

Materials Needed
Size 10 crochet cotton in White. Southmaid was used in the example
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc = 1"
Finished Size: 6" diam
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
RND 1: Ch12. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch5, dc in same st as slst. Sk next ch. Ch1. *Dc, ch2, dc in next ch. Ch1. Sk next ch. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5.

RND 2: Slst into the first ch2 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in same sp. Ch1. *3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join w/sls to top of ch3.

RND 3: Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch2 sp. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. *Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch2 sp. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 4: Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch6. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch2. *Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch6. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch2. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 5: Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch6 sp. Ch3. dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch3. *Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch3. Sc in nnext ch6 sp. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch3. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 6: Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch3. Sc in next ch3 sp. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. ch4. *Dc in each of the next 3dc. Ch3. Sc in next ch3 sp. ch3. sc in next ch3 sp. Ch3. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch4. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 7: Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2dc. (Ch4. Sk next ch 3 sp. Sc in next ch3 sp. ch4. Sk next ch3 sp. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch4. Sc in next ch4 sp. ch4.) *Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 8: Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. (Ch5. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch4. Sc in next ch4 sp, ch4, twice.) *Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 9: Ch3. Dc in each of the next 2dc. (Ch1. Sc in next ch5 sp. Ch1. Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Ch4. Sc in next ch4 sp, ch4, three times.) *Dc in each of the next 3 dc. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 10: Ch3. Yo, insert hook in next dc, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, five times, yo, pull through all lps on hook. Cluster made. (Ch6. Sc in next ch4 sp, ch5, three times. Sc in next ch4 sp. Ch6.)*Yo, insert hook in next dc, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, six times, yo, pull through all lps on hook. Cluster made. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of first cluster made.

RND 11: Slst into each of the first 3 chs of the first ch6 sp. Sc in same sp. (Ch5. Sc in next ch5 sp, three times. Ch5. Sc in next ch6 sp. Ch5.) *Sc in next ch6 sp. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to first sc.

RND 12: Ch1. 7sc in next sp, sc in next sc, four times. 7 dc in next sp. *Sc in next sc. 7sc in next sp, sc in next sc, four times. 7 dc in next sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off and weave ends into back of work. Iron and block as needed.
