Ruffled Christmas Candle

This candle is fast and fun to make and uses the scfbb as an accent. It also uses an empty bath tissue roll for it's form.

Materials Needed
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in white
Worsted weight acrylic yarn in red white and green multi.
Scrap of orange worsted weight acrylic yarn
Scrap of yellow worsted weight acrylic yarn
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
Empty Bath tissue roll
Yarn needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc = 1"
Finished Size: 6"x4"
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
Special Stitch Single Crochet front back bobble: (scfbb) : Insert hook in back lp only of next st. yo, draw up a loop. You will now have 2 lps on hook. Yo, draw through one lp on hook. Now, insert hook in front lp of same stitch from the inside toward you, yo draw up a lp. You should now have 3 lps on hook. Yo and pull through all 3 lps on hook.

RND 1: With white. Ch4. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch2. 11 hdc in ring. Join w/slst to top of ch2.

RND 2: Ch1. 2sc in next st. *1sc in next st. 2sc in next st. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to ch1.

RND 3: Ch3. working on the back side around the post of each sc, dc in each st around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 4: Ch1. Sc in each st around. Join w/slst to ch1.

RND 5: Ch3. Dc in each st around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 6: Rep RND 4.

RND 7: Ch1. Scfbb in each st around and in stitch at base of ch1. Join w/slst to first scfbb. Drop white but do not fasten off.

RND 8: Join multi colored yarn Ch1. Sc in each st around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off multicolored yarn.

RND 9: Pick up white. Ch1. Scfbb in each st around and in base of ch1. Join w/slst to first scfbb.

RND 10: Ch1. Sc in each st around. Join w/slst to ch1.

RND 11: Ch3. Dc in each st around. Join w/slt to top of ch3.

RND 12: Ch1. Sc in each st around. Join w/slst to ch1.

RND 13: Ch3. Dc in each st around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 14: Ch1. Sc in each st around. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off white.

RND 15: Join multi colored yarn in same st as slst. Ch3. 2dc in same st. 3dc in each st around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 16: Ch3. 2dc in same st as slst. 3dc in each st around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off multicolored yarn. Weave ends into back of work.

Finishing Flame: With orange, ch5, slst in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in each of the next 4 chs. Fasten off orange. Join yellow yarn in same st as last st. Ch1, turn. Sc in each of the next 4 sc. Ch3, slst in 3rd ch from hook. Sc in each st across on the other side of the orange part. Fasten off. Turn candle inside out. Pull flame ends through hole so the flame will be inside the tube. Weave the ends of the flame to the inside of round 1.
