This very simple Pure White Guardian Angel which resembles a cross can be made into either a pin ornament or a fridgie. It has a deep red stone at it's heart to represent God's love for us. Keep it near you to remind you that you are not alone.

Materials Needed:
Small amount white worsted weight yarn
One 13mm round acrylic faceted red stone.
Yarn Needle
Size G Hook

Yarn Thickness: 4mm Gauge: 4dc=1"
Finished Size: =4" Wide 4" Long
Skill Level: Easy

Instructions
Head:
Ch 3, wk 12 dc in 3rd ch from hk. Sl st to first dc. Fasten off.

Wings:
Make 2. Ch 9, work the following sts in the following order to the other end of the chain. Slst, sc, hdc, 2 dc, hdc, sc, sl st. Ch 1, repeat the sequence on the other side of the chain. Sl st in first sl st to finish. Fasten off, weave other end of yarn into work. Where you made your starting loop. Do this with all pieces made for the angel.

Body:
Make 1. Ch 12, work the following sts in the following order to the other end of the chain. Sl st, sc hdc, 5 dc, hdc, sc, sl st. Ch 1, repeat the sequence on the other side of the chain. Sl st in first sl st to finish.

Assembly:
Sew peices together as shown in the picture so that the head is on top, the wins are on the sides and the body is on bottom. Stitch about 2 sts of each piece. Use a whip st. Glue the stone where the pieces are sewn toghether.
