Beaded Shells Candle Holder
This beaded votive holder is made with shell stitches and is fun to make. All of the beads are strung on first, then it is stitched. You pull up the beads as you work each stitch where indicated. This votive holder is for the clear glass votive holders that are available at most major discount department stores.
This pattern is for paid members but if you are not a paid member you can get this pattern for $1.99 or you can sign up to become a paid member and have access to all of the patterns on the site.

Helpful Hints
Recycled Sachet Stuffing
You can used shredded left over fabric softener sheets for stuffing small sachets. If you use fabric softener sheets in your wash, instead of throwing them out after 1 use, store them in a plastic baggie or covered container untill you have enough to shred with a rotary cutter or scissors to stuff into sachets. They still smell nice and may last a long time in a drawer. I would use a refillable sachet so you can change the shreds if you need to.

Win 1,000,000 points!
Notice there is a number under the point tracker now. That number indicates how many people have been rewarded points since July 19, 2009. From now on, when you get to a page with a tracker, and you have not already been given points for visiting that page, you will be given 100 points instead of 10. If you are the 1,000,000th person to receive 100 points, you will actually get 1,000,000 points instead. I may change the counter so it counts every time the program is run, it may reward the one million points faster. When 1,000,000 has been reached, the counter will reset itself to 0 and the count will start over again. That way, everyone will have a chance to win the 1,000,000 points.
I still have a little bit of programming to do with it but for now, it will keep count and it will reward the one million points. I also want it to send the winner and I an email when it rewards the one million points so for now it is set to count rewards given instead of when the program runs. It will give me time to finish the program.
Don't forget, if you are a paid member, you can use the points to purchase items from the special store inside the paid members area. I will be adding some handmade jewelry to it soon. I have other stuff I will be adding also.
