Childs Crown Hat

This hat sort of looks like a crown and would look great in any color for either boys or girls. It can be made in an evening so it is a quick gift idea. If you need to make the hat bigger or smaller just change the size of the hook and perhaps even the thickness of the yarn used.

Stringing Beads Before Stitching
If you crochet with beads, put the beads in a shallow dish to make it easier to scoop them up one or two at a time. When working with beads, most of the time you will need to put the beads onto the thread or yarn first before starting withe crocheting.
